Thus, to resolve this problematic, first we have to explore quality concept, qualimetry -the science of quality quantification -, and the state of the art about quality modeling for embedded software. Furthermore, these safety guidelines impose to the company to be at the state of the art for processes and methods, when designing and developing a new vehicle. In the context of automotive systems’ development, our research aims to strengthen and unify quality definition, assessment, control, or prediction activities for automotive embedded software.

This is particularly true with transportation systems where we can name few famous standards and guidelines: the ISO 26262 addresses the software functional safety in automotive, the ARP4754 provides guidelines for the development of civil aircrafts, and the DO-178C addresses software safety in aeronautics. Today, when a company designs, develops and manufactures goods or services, it must not only target a high level of quality for the products to satisfy customers, but also comply with many standards and regulations. We argue that both of these literaturs need to be analyzed in order to understand the conceptual fundament and debates of Altmetrics.

However, we also observe a relevant corpus literature that emerged around the year 2005. The results show that the biggest share (82%) of articles has been published shortly after 2010, when the term has been coined. Taken together, the corpus of literature discussed in this report consists of a total of 433 articles. This procedure allowed for covering not only the most relevant but also the most recent literature on Altmetrics. The report is based on a methodology that combines different channels of data collection by means of bibliometric analyses and mentions in the microblogging service Twitter, which is described in chapter 2. This report aims at providing a comprehensive overview of the Altmetrics scholarly landscape, its intellectual origins (chapter 3), terminologies and concepts (chapter 4), its infrastructures, measures, and relevant topics for communicating, disseminating, and assessing research (chapters 5, 6, and 7 respectively). The result of the mapping showed that though the model of ISO SQuaRE has been widely used since the last five years and experienced the dynamics, the researchers in Indonesia still used ISO9126 until the end of 2016.The most commonly used method of the software quality measurement Method is the empirical method, and some researchers have done an AHP and Fuzzy approach in measuring the software quality. 42 relevant papers have been obtained then. Using the method of Systematic Mapping Study, we did a searching and filtering of papers using the inclusion and exclusion criteria. This study aims to map the method of software quality measurement in any models of quality. Some methods of the software quality analysis have been tested in a different perspective, and we have presented the software method in the point of view of users and experts. Hence, before be marketed, it needs the software quality measurement to fulfill the user requirements. Software quality is a key for the success in the business of information and technology. In addition, expert opinion was elicited via questionnaires from 10 experts, and overall feedback suggests that 80% of them are willing to adopt the approach. The proposed framework is validated by applying it to a case study. This study addresses the aforementioned challenges by evolving a process framework for evaluating and selecting OSS. However, these approaches are hardly ever used in practice for the following reasons: first, the lack of a situational‐based procedure to define the evaluation criteria for OSS given its varied and dynamic nature second, the inability of existing evaluation techniques, such as the analytic hierarchy process, to cope well with uncertainty factors, thus producing misleading results that affect the quality of decisions made and third, a significant number of existing approaches require the prototyping of alternatives being considered in order to facilitate evaluation and decision‐making. A plethora of approaches exists for the evaluation and selection of open‐source software (OSS) in the literature.
